Salesforce B2C Commerce 26.1 Release: What's New to Kick Off 2026

The Salesforce B2C Commerce 26.1 release is the first milestone in the 2026 release train and it lands gradually across PODs from December 4, 2025 to January 29, 2026. Once your instances are upgraded, you’ll see a handful of practical improvements that touch the way shoppers search, how you handle payments, and how merchandisers work in Business Manager.

Here's a quick rundown of the highlights:

  • Guided shopping with questions
A new shopping agent experience helps shoppers narrow down results with guided questions rather than just filters. For example, if someone searches for running shoes, the agent can ask follow-up questions about surface type or use case, and then refine the results accordingly. ( Learn more )
  • Adyen as a Salesforce Payments option
You can now integrate your existing Adyen merchant accounts directly into Salesforce Payments for B2C Commerce. This lets you manage Adyen alongside other payment methods natively within Salesforce, instead of maintaining a completely separate integration. ( Learn more )
  • Search by price and availability
Advanced Search gets new Price and Inventory filters so teams can quickly find products that are out of stock, have missing prices, or match specific price ranges. It’s a small change that makes catalog maintenance and troubleshooting much faster. ( Learn more )
  • Site controls in the Administration app
The Site Selector, Storefront Preview and Toolkit controls are now accessible directly from the Administration app in Business Manager. That means fewer context switches to Merchant Tools and a more streamlined workflow for day-to-day site management. ( Learn more )
  • More consistent storefront preview URLs
Storefront preview URLs generated from Business Manager are now more reliable and aligned with the live storefront experience. Previews use the vanity hostname defined as the SEO alias instead of a generic hostname, so the links you share with content and business teams behave more like the real site. ( Learn more )

Overall, 26.1 is a "quality of life" release: you’re not getting a brand-new product, but you are getting smarter search guidance, more flexibility in payments, better catalog search tools, and smoother workflows in Business Manager. It’s a good one to roll out early, test your key journeys, and keep your teams informed about the small changes that can save them time every day.
